Present at the meetings were officials of the local party and power organs and working people's organizations, service personnel of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials and other people of industrial establishments and farms and teachers and students of universities and colleges.

The speakers said the will of the service personnel and people of the DPRK to take a thousand-fold revenge on the enemies is running high, following the release of the statement of the KPA Supreme Command and the important decision of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un at an operation meeting on the KPA Strategic Rocket Force's performance of duty on firepower strike.

They went on:

We have our own-style means and ways of merciless strike which are unpredictable and still unknown to the world. The high precision strike means of the DPRK are aiming all the big and small military objects of the enemies.

The time when words worked has gone. If the U.S. imperialists ignite a war again in this land, they can never evade the shameful defeat, and the army and people of the DPRK will greet a bright day of national reunification.

The speakers called for strengthening national defence capability in every way and creating miracles and innovations in the production and construction, true to the new strategic line of the party on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear armed force.

They also called upon all the people to unite close around Kim Jong Un and fully demonstrate the dignity and spirit of Songun Korea and thus make contributions to glorifying the significant this year with proud successes in building an economic power.

The meetings were followed by demonstration marches.
