The statement said that the peninsula has faced extremely dangerous phase due to the U.S. imperialists' frantic war drills in the wake of the UN Security Council's adoption of the "resolutions on sanctions" against the DPRK.

The U.S. imperialists recently activated B-52 and other strategic bombers to make sorties to the peninsula as part of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises, the statement noted, adding:

This is a reflection of their sinister intention to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK, the country of Juche, at any cost. This is also a provocation that can never be pardoned.

We can hardly repress great resentment and hatred against the U.S. imperialists, Yankees.

The DPRK, standing in the forefront of anti-imperialist struggle, is the most independent socialist state.

This is the reason that the U.S. imperialists are working hard to stifle the DPRK at any cost.

They should clearly know that the DPRK is not a country that can be frightened by threat and blackmail.

The Korean people will achieve a final victory without fail under the Songun revolutionary leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The statement called on anti-imperialist independent forces and followers of Juche idea, Songun idea in the world to extend full support and encouragement to the Korean people all out to settle account with the U.S. imperialists.

It also called upon them to thoroughly reject sordid act of the U.S. imperialists and the Western media.
