Ivan Sluhai, chairman of the Moscow War Veterans Committee, said on March 27:

The U.S. and south Korean authorities will not unleash a war against the DPRK, a country that has access to the powerful nuclear deterrent.

The DPRK has powerful nuclear and missile strike capabilities to resolutely counter the provocation of hostile forces.

The committee extends support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country and bitterly denounces the U.S. for its nuclear strike drills.

The Korean people will certainly win a final victory in the efforts to build a thriving socialist nation and reunify the country under the Songun leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Sergey Kramarenko, vice-chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, said on the same day:

The Korean people will not abandon their sovereignty despite the U.S. nuclear threat.

The DPRK is holding Kim Jong Un, another brilliant Songun commander, as supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

The U.S. will get only destruction in igniting a war against the DPRK.

The Korean people will win a victory in the confrontation with the U.S. under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Un.
