Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, made a report.

The aim sought by the U.S. in pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war is to disarm the DPRK, bring down its social system and obliterate the Korean nation, he said.

The south Korean puppet group is openly revealing its attempt to "strike commanding forces" and dare hurt even the symbol of the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, not content with crying out for "preemptive strike" and "powerful punishment" by taking advantage of the U.S. moves for a nuclear war against the DPRK, he noted, condemning it as a treason against humanity.

He called upon all officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan to turn out as one in the struggle to defend the motherland and wage a dynamic patriotic movement of Chongryon to cope with the prevailing grave situation.

The speakers vowed to keep pace with the people in the homeland all out in the do-or-die resistance to absolutely defend the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, safeguard the socialist country more precious than their own lives and rise up in the sacred war for national reunification.
