The areas included Songrim and Tanchon cities, Hungdok District, Yonan, Samjiyon, Kilju, Sijung and Musan counties.

Present at the meetings were officials of local party and power organs and working people's organizations as well as servicepersons. Officials and other people of industrial establishments and co-op farms, teachers and students of universities and colleges also attended.

The speakers said that the important decision made by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un at an operation meeting on the performance of duty of the Strategic Rocket Force of the Korean People's Army on firepower strike is a declaration of the will to fight a decisive battle and a final decision of justice to provide a turn in putting an end to the history of the confrontation with the U.S. and usher in a new era.

They recalled that despite repeated warnings of the DPRK, the U.S. imperialists are getting reckless to turn south Korea and the waters off it into the places of exhibiting lethal weapons in which all sorts of nuclear strike weapons were massed aimed to provoke the extremely dangerous nuclear war.

They noted that the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army would take military counter-measures for an actual war in succession to cope with the prevailing serious situation, and if the aggressors dare provoke, it would blow up the strongholds of aggression by dealing a merciless blow of annihilation to them.

They called for being loyal to Kim Jong Un's idea and leadership so as to make a positive contribution to putting a final end to the confrontation with U.S.-led imperialism and bringing about a new surge in building an economic power.

At the end of the meetings, the participants marched along streets.
