Kim Il Sung Lauded by Russian, Bangladeshi Papers
Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Russian and Bangladeshi papers carried special write-ups to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The March 26th issue of the Russian paper Komsomolskaya Pravda carried an article titled "Succession to socialist cause in DPRK" illustrated with portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, a portrait of the dear respected Kim Jong Un and pictures showing undying feats of the great men of Mt. Paektu.

Kim Il Sung led the Korean revolution for a long period, laying a solid foundation for the socialist cause, the article said, and went on:

The President turned the DPRK into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The DPRK could make steady progress as he firmly equipped all people with the idea of socialism and wisely led them to remain intensely loyal to its cause.

He is praised as the founding father of socialist Korea.

The Bangladeshi paper Industry on March 24 carried an article titled "Kim Il Sung, shining august name" together with a portrait of smiling President.

It said:

The august name of the President means the sun.

His august name is shedding its rays like the sun.

The Korean revolutionaries named him Kim Il Sung in the meaning that he was the sun indicating the road of national rebirth and prosperity.

The President liberated the country through an arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle and inflicted a defeat upon the U.S. imperialists in the past Fatherland Liberation War, the first of its kind in the history, protecting the sovereignty and dignity of the country.

If the Juche idea, Songun idea founded by him can be likened to the sun illumining the road for mankind to follow, his noble virtue and moral obligation can be compared to its heat giving life to all things.

His august name is shining as a banner of eternal victory.
