Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Personages of Democratic Congo and Bangladesh issued statements on March 29 and 31 in support of the statements of the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army and the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea). Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo who is also chairman of the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, accused the U.S. of staging large-scale war drills against the DPRK in collusion with the south Korean regime from March 1, bringing the dark clouds of a nuclear war to hang over the Korean Peninsula. The measures taken by the Supreme Command of the KPA to cope with the hostile forces' dangerous moves for a nuclear war are entirely just ones to protect the country's sovereignty and the dignity of the nation, he added. M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, said: The U.S. ever-escalating hostile acts against the DPRK over its satellite launch have finally pushed the situation to the brink of a nuclear war. The U.S. prodded the UN Security Council into fabricating two "resolutions on sanctions" against the DPRK in less than two months, stirring up the vicious cycle of tension in a bid to secure a justification for its anti-DPRK campaign under the signboard of "nuclear non-proliferation." We express firm solidarity with the Korean people all out in the final stage of all-out action against the U.S. to protect the sovereignty of the country and the dignity of the nation. We also fully support the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK in view of the prevailing grave situation. |
