Large-scale Drills for Firepower Strike Planned in South Korea

Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- The 8th corps of the south Korean puppet army is planning to stage a large-scale drill for firepower strike at the coast of Kangwon Province of south Korea on April 9 in coordinated operations with naval and air forces, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

It was reported that the drills would involve all type artillery pieces belonging to the corps, 9 destroyers of the navy and KF-16s and F-5s of the air force.

The warmongers are going to stage such drill with the maximum range under the simulated conditions of a real war.

They are intensifying the drills for preemptive strikes and stirring up the atmosphere of confrontation with the DPRK in a bid to stifle it at any cost.
