Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

Such military moves are deliberate and premeditated actions to push the extreme tensions to the phase of explosion.

Such reckless war drumbeats made by the south Korean puppet Marine Corps which does not know what a deadly strike is like are directly linked with the U.S. scenario to escalate the moves for a war against the DPRK by mobilizing the "three major strategic nuclear strike means."

What the south Korean Marine Corps is now doing is like gambling over the fate of 40 million south Koreans.

As far as the five islands are concerned, they are within the range of direct sighting strikes of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK, and the puppet Marine Corps there is nothing different from rats in a trap.

The south Korean warmongers should bear in mind that their reckless firing drills are bound to spark off the nuclear strikes of the Korean People's Army.
