The present regime of Japan is opting for a military adventure, stepping up its hostile policy towards the DPRK in pursuance of the U.S. hard-line policy to stifle it by force of arms.

During the past Korean War, Japan offered its territory to the U.S. imperialists as their offensive, logistic and repair bases and took part in their operations to raze various parts of the DPRK to the ground. For this Tokyo came under "gold shower".

In a new Korean war, Japan seeks to offer its whole territory to the U.S. forces as their base for aggression.

There are at least 2,800 bases and facilities of Japan's "Self-Defense Forces." Japan has already decided to offer not only the U.S. military bases in Japan and those of the SDF but civilian ports and airports to the U.S. forces in case a war breaks out in Korea.

The SDF is busy staging war drills under the simulated conditions of invasion of Korea with its units concentrated on the western part of Japan, close to Korea.

It is the objective of the Japanese reactionaries to realize their scenario for staging a comeback to Korea, taking advantage of the U.S. moves to stifle the DPRK by force of arms.

The Korean People's Army is fully capable of blowing up U.S. military bases not only in Japan but in other areas of the Asia-Pacific region.

If the Japanese reactionaries join in the U.S. imperialists' reckless moves for a war against the DPRK, failing to face up to the present situation, they are bound to meet a miserable end, warns the article.
