On display there are more than 600 designs and products based on them and industrial art designs that received guidance given by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display are at least 1,000 designs, products and models created by the Korean Industrial Art Studio, the Mansudae Art Studio, provincial industrial art studios, units for creating industrial art of ministries and national institutions, teachers and students in the field of education such as Pyongyang University of Fine Arts and industrial art lovers.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned, creators, teachers and students in the field of industrial art and industrial art lovers.

Vice Premier Ri Mu Yong said in an opening address that the exhibition would be of great significance as it will showcase the development of the Juche-based industrial art.

He called for launching a dynamic campaign to break through cutting-edge science and technology and demonstrate high ability in order to create more valuable designs and thus contributing to turning out products impeccable in any aspect and favored by customers and goods with world competitiveness.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the exhibition.
