The new line is the strategic one to be firmly adhered to by the WPK and the army and people of the DPRK in the confrontation with the U.S. and the building of a thriving socialist nation, the speakers said, and went on:

The new line is a strategic line as it meets the supreme interests of the Korean revolution and makes it possible to protect them firmly and to closely combine economic construction and nuclear force up-building as required by the new higher stage of the developing revolution and satisfactorily push them forward.

The new line is the most just and unique as it is a continuation of the line of simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and defence up-building laid down and implemented by the Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and its development in depth as required by the prevailing situation and the developing revolution in the DPRK.

Noting that this line developed in depth the line of simultaneously developing economy and defence up-building whose validity and vitality have been proved in revolutionary practice, the speakers stressed that it is a realistic and reasonable one as it makes it possible to energetically promote the development in all fields of the national economy with the nuclear force up-building. They continued:

The validity of the new line lies in that the bolstered nuclear force serves as reliable war deterrence, provides a sure guarantee for safeguarding the national sovereignty and helps display its greatest effect in developing economy and bolstering the national defence as required by the actual situation in the DPRK.

To remain true to Kim Jong Un's Songun revolutionary leadership is a sure guarantee for achieving a final victory in the Juche-oriented revolution by thoroughly implementing the new line.
