Never Has Korean Nation Been So Dignified as Today: Korean in US

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The director of the Institute for Study of Idea of Independence in the United States posted an article titled "Why do I respect north, my homeland" on its website. The present trend of the situation on the Korean Peninsula made me respect the DPRK, the author of the article said, explaining the reason: The north is my homeland which I look up to and consider dear because it is following the path of truth and justice. It is also because the north values independence so much. It is a country which is standing up against tyranny, domination, war and exploitation by the U.S. styling itself the world's "strongest power". It is the north which aspires after national reunification in single-minded unity, resolutely rejecting the imperialists' "divide and rule" doctrine. The north launched three satellites and successfully conducted three nuclear tests by its own efforts, stunning the world, though subject to economic sanctions and military pressure for decades. Never has the Korean nation been so proud and dignified as today in its history spanning five thousand years. So, I cannot but respect the north. The author called upon all Koreans in the south, north and overseas to get united as one to drive out a handful of separatist forces and build a powerful reunified country. |
