Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- The paid newspapers of south Korea including Chosun Ilbo, Dong-A Ilbo, Munhwa Ilbo and Segye Ilbo recently released invectives against the DPRK, branding its new line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force as a "provocation with an attempt at nuclear weaponization" and "the height of brinkmanship tactics". They said that "the north's behavior is becoming increasingly dangerous." They even hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its social system, distorting the truth of the present situation on the Korean Peninsula and spreading misinformation. Rodong Sinmun Thursday says in a bylined commentary in this regard: The sinister and sordid aim of the south Korean regime and its dutiful quasi-media is to tarnish the image of the DPRK and evade the responsibility for the escalating tension on the peninsula. The present situation proves that those conservative hack papers have always followed the south Korean puppet regime's anti-DPRK plots and now turned into the waiting maid of power bereft of the elementary sense of assessing the situation and discretion. With the north-south confrontation now at the point of explosion the reckless remarks made by quasi-journalists of south Korea have put the fate of the south Korean people at peril. They are hideous war criminals to be hanged as they agitate confrontation and war and foster injustice. The vicious conservative venal writers had better remember that the coordinates of the dens of the hack papers as well as the strongholds of evils including Chongwadae and the White House have already been entered into precision nuclear strike means of the DPRK. |
