They included a meeting and film show in Benin, seminar in Democratic Congo and film show in Ethiopia between March 26 and 30.

Korean films shown included "The Tower of the Juche Idea" and "Arms of Korea".

Ali Houdou, general secretary of the Socialist Party of Benin, said the 20th century was, indeed, a century of Kim Il Sung, adding:

Kim Il Sung was a prominent leader and peerlessly veteran statesman who performed undying exploits for humanity and era with his profound idea and theory, extraordinary leadership art and great revolutionary practices.

His life was one of the people's leader who regarded it as his maxim to believe in people as in Heaven and brought it into full bloom in reality by embodying it in ideology and leadership.

Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo, said:

Kim Il Sung ushered in a new era of the human cause of independence by founding the immortal Juche idea.

He let the broad working masses firmly arm themselves with the Juche idea and settle all the matters arising in the revolution and construction by themselves. By doing so, he always led the Korean revolution to victory.

A congratulatory message to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at an event in Benin.
