Accusing the U.S. of its nuclear war racket against socialist Korea, he said:

The cutting-edge science and technology are no longer a monopoly of the imperialists and gone are the days never to return when they could threaten the DPRK with nuclear weapons.

The prosperous DPRK is now fully ready to cope with all circumstances politically and militarily.

The U.S. should clearly bear this in mind.

In connection with the situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula the Communist Party of Democratic Congo expresses support for the will and decision of the army and people of the DPRK to defend the country's independence and sovereignty and the supreme dignity of the nation and socialist system.

The U.S. should pull its troops out of south Korea without condition and make sure that the Korean people achieve the country's reunification in an independent way by their concerted efforts, free from outsiders' interference.
