U.S. Moves to Ignite Nuclear War against DPRK under Fire

Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association issued a joint statement on Apr. 4 in which they accused the U.S. imperialists of bringing the dark clouds of a nuclear war to hang over the Korean Peninsula.

The statement said:

The U.S. imperialists' war drills have entered the phase of practical military actions as they are aimed to encroach upon the DPRK's sovereignty and bring down its people-centered socialist system.

The DPRK has its full-fledged right to defend itself from the U.S. aggression. The stand clarified by the DPRK's revolutionary armed forces to cope with the U.S. moves for aggression is the most just one for safeguarding the country's supreme interests, socialist system and sovereignty.

The statement called upon the world progressive forces and peace-loving people to extend positive support to the DPRK, a fortress of independence holding aloft the socialist banner of independence against imperialism.
