ALBA expresses concern over the situation prevailing on the peninsula, the statement said, and went on:

Any military conflict there may pose a threat to the peace and security in the region and bring an untold disaster to mankind.

We strongly demand the U.S. stop all forms of provocations that may cause a military conflict on the Korean Peninsula.

We also hope that the UN Security Council would make efforts for the detente on the peninsula.
