British Organizations Urge U.S. to Apologize to Koreans for Killing Jeju Island Up-risers
Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association released a joint statement on Apr. 4 on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Jeju Island Popular Uprising in south Korea.

The statement said that the popular uprising was the just patriotic struggle.

The participants in the uprising waged an unflinching struggle to hold in check and shatter the U.S. imperialists' colonial policy in south Korea and their moves for splitting the Korean nation and achieve the country's independent and peaceful reunification, the statement said, and went on:

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces massacred a lot of patriots in barbarous manner and turned villages into ashes.

The Jeju Island Popular Uprising left a bitter lesson that Koreans can never live with the U.S. murderers under the same sky but have to fight it out against them.

Still alive is the indomitable stamina and fighting spirit of the up-risers.

The U.S. imperialists present in south Korea are getting evermore undisguised in their war moves while steadily threatening the DPRK.

Now is the time for the Yankee U.S. imperialists to apologize to the Korean nation for brutally killing up-risers on Jeju Island and withdraw their troops of aggression from south Korea, concluded the statement.
