They built youth league organizations into the Songun youth vanguard organizations, performed feats in defending the country and building a thriving socialist nation and set an example in study and organizational life through a dynamic drive to defend and glorify the idea of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the youth movement and their leadership feats.

Kim Il Sung Children Honor Prize went to 208 members of the Korean Children's Union who set an example in study and organizational life, socio-political activities and the do-good-thing movement by learning from the glorious childhood of the Generalissimos.

An awarding ceremony took place here Friday.
