Youth and Students Meet

| Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- A meeting of youth and students was held at the Central Youth Hall Friday to celebrate the first anniversaries of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un's election as first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK. Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, made a report to be followed by speeches. The reporter and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's election was a great fortune of Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea and the highest honor for the Korean people. He put forward the young people as the scouting force of the Songun revolution and developed the Korean youth movement on a higher stage as required by the era of historic turn in carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche, they noted. They evinced their resolution to thoroughly carry out the decision made at the March, 2013 Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and significantly glorify this year which marks the 65th anniversary of the DPRK and the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
