Korean Peninsula Exposed to Danger of Nuclear War
Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The United States has reinforced large amounts of latest military hardware, including nuclear forces, in and around the Korean Peninsula, thus escalating the regional tense situation.

Its "F-22" fighters were deployed at Osan air-force base in south Korea, in the wake of flights of "B-52" and "B-2A" bombers and portcall of nuclear-powered submarine "Cheyenne" into this region.

Nuclear-powered carriers, "Stennis", operational in the Indian Ocean and Nimitz, anchored at a base of the mainland, are sailing to the Pacific. Meanwhile, two Aegis destroyers were deployed in the West Pacific.

Such moves for DPRK-targeted nuclear war have lashed into fury the army and the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, who are now in full readiness for action against the U.S.

The artillery units of the Korean People's Army, including the rocket units, have been on standby, zeroing on the targets in the U.S. mainland, Hawai, Guam and south Korea.

While keeping themselves in full combat posture, the civilians are pressing ahead with production and construction, true to the instruction of President Kim Il Sung that construction should be continued until today even if a war may break out tomorrow,.

Jong Yong Sik, a citizen living in Sadong District, Pyongyang, said:

"It is likely that the U.S. has misconception of the DPRK's tough will. An option is not a monopoly of the U.S.

The U.S. should be mindful that the possible war would devastatingly affect the U.S. mainland."
