Performances were given by art troupes at the Pyongyang Grand Theater, Moranbong Theater, Central Youth Hall and Music Hall of the Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory.

The performers sang high praise of the revolutionary life and immortal feats of the Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who provided the eternal foundation for prosperity of the sun's nation on this land, and the leadership art of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who is glorifying the cause of the sun under the uplifted banner of Songun.

Overseas Korean artistes conspicuously decorated the festival stage with songs and dances.

Artistes of South Hwanghae and Jagang provinces and Kaesong City presented their peculiar repertoires.

Members of art squads and itinerant art squads gave performances at the National Theatre and the Yun I Sang Concert Hall.

In their numbers such as female chorus "Our Leader Unforgettable", mixed chorus "Do Prosper, Era of the Workers' Party", members of the art squad of the Ministry of Railways made a successful artistic depiction of the immortal feats of the great sages of revolution who dedicated themselves to the people's happiness and the prosperity of the generations to come all their lives.

Members of art squads of the central committees of the Korean Democratic Women's Union and the Union of Agricultural Workers put on the stage dialogic poem "Wish and Blessing", guitar assemble "Everything Goes Well Only When a Family Is in Harmony" and female chorus "Song of Plowing".

Members of art groups from across the country presented their performances at the stages of the Pyongyang International Cinema House, Cultural House of the Ministry of Railways, Central House of Workers and Central Youth Hall, revving up the atmosphere of the festival.
