Kim Il Sung's Outlook on Happiness
Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung was a great sage with a lofty outlook on happiness.

In his lifetime, he would say that he was blessed with good people, comrades and the great heir.

He called the Korean people the heroic people who wrought miracles in the revolution and construction, remaining faithful to their leader.

In April Juche 82 (1993) he was asked about his hobby by Washington Times. He answered that his hobby was to find himself among the popular masses. His remarks deeply moved its journalists.

Kim Il Sung had so many comrades who shared with him the same idea and will, and weal and woe.

He took it as his belief that gaining comrade is to win everything but losing comrade is to lose everything. He was always grateful to his comrades.

Unprecedented in history, his comradeship reached even many foreigners, among them being Zhang Weihua, a Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, and Ya. T. Nobichenko, a Russian military officer who covered the explosion of a hand grenade with his body.

He was also very proud of being blessed with the great heir. This pride was clearly expressed in the poem "Shining Star" which he personally composed on leader Kim Jong Il's 50th birthday.

When an opportunity presented itself, he used to mention Kim Jong Il's greatness.

Indeed, the three kinds of blessings were what could be enjoyed only by Kim Il Sung, the eternal sun of mankind.
