U.S., Its Followers Accused of Moving against DPRK: Regional Body
Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- The Oceania regional preparatory committee to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War in a statement on Mar. 28 accused the U.S. and its satellite forces of their war moves against the DPRK.

Nearly six decades have passed since the conclusion of the Korean Armistice Agreement, the statement said, and went on:

The U.S., however, has failed to implement even elementary provisions of the agreement, keeping deploying on the Korean Peninsula tens of thousands of troops along with nuclear weapons by abusing the name of the UN.

The situation on the Korean Peninsula has been extremely aggravated nowadays.

The U.S. is staging large-scale joint military exercises together with its followers in different parts of the Korean Peninsula in the wake of prodding the UN Security Council into cooking up the "resolutions on sanctions" against the DPRK.

Huge nuclear forces including nuclear warships and nuclear strategic bombers have been amassed in the vicinity of the peninsula since the conclusion of the armistice agreement.

The U.S. and its followers deliberately seek to create an atmosphere of military confrontation on the peninsula.

We condemn the U.S. for its moves to push the situation to the brink of a war, while escalating the tension in the Peninsula.

The U.S. and the forces following it should immediately stop their moves against the DPRK.
