Present there were members of the Executive Committee -- Director-General of the IIJI Vishwanath who is also secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and the International Kim Jong Il Prize Council, Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the IIJI, Eleazar Rubio Aldaran, secretary general of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, and Ri Kil Song, vice-chairman of the Social Scientists Society of Korea.

Some directors were present there as observers.

Successes made by the organizations for the study of the Juche idea after the 13th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the IIJI were reviewed and the working plan for 2013 of the institute was laid out.

Some members of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors were elected to fill vacancies.

An appeal to the followers of the Juche idea of different countries and regions was adopted at the meeting.

The appeal said that the DPRK's development and test of the nuclear weapons were the just right to defend the socialist system and the lives and properties of the people, denouncing the U.S. and its followers for their moves to ignite a nuclear war against the DPRK.

It fully supported, reflecting unanimous mind of the followers of the Juche idea in the world, the strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force, a unique guarantee for the victory of the cause of independence, Songun and socialism.

It strongly called upon the followers of the Juche idea over the world to fully support the Korean people in their just struggle to frustrate the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK, reunify the country independently and build a thriving nation, rallied closer around the dear respected Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The appeal said that the imperialists' moves will be shattered before long and the just struggle of the Korean people vigorously advancing along the road of independence and socialism will surely win a victory.
