The festive mood has gained momentum on Sunday.

People from all walks of life marking the Day of the Sun packed ten odd places in Pyongyang including theatres and music halls.

Enjoying performances were officials, working people and youth and students, overseas compatriots and foreigners.

Central and local art troupes' artistes and members of itinerant art squads and art groups of working people and overseas Korean artistes put on the stage colorful numbers including songs, instrumental music, dance and magic pieces.

With a great joy of grandly celebrating the April holiday as an all-people art festival, the performers presented choruses "Let's Sing of the Day of the Sun" and "People Sing of April Holiday."

Chorus and dance "Our Leader" and story telling and chorus "We Always Remember All Sorts of Hardships Undergone by the Leader" deeply moved the audience by making them recollect the revolutionary life of the peerlessly great man shining with outstanding idea and theory, gigantic revolutionary practice and noble traits.

Watching female trio "The Glow over Kangson" and chorus "When Taking Field Road" the audience looked back on how Kim Il Sung led the workers to perform miracles and feats, always finding himself among them, and covered bad farm roads, saying that agriculture is the great foundation of the country.

In numbers like orchestra "Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung" and chorus "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" the performers sang high praises of the army-building feats Kim Il Sung, invincible and iron-willed commander, performed by achieving the historic victories in the fierce anti-Japanese war and the Fatherland Liberation War, training the matchless army and providing the eternal treasured sword for defending the country, revolution and socialism.

They vividly represented the eye-opening change of the country dynamically advancing along the road of prosperity under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung.

The fourth movement "We Pledge" from symphony "The Leader Will Always Be with Us" represented the steadfast will of the Korean people to uphold Kim Il Sung as the sun of Juche for all ages.

Functional magic "Trick by Playing Cards", illusionary jugglery "Work of Juggler" and other magic pieces added to optimism and joy of the people greeting the Day of the Sun as a great jubilee of the nation.
