Present there were the vice-chairman of the United Confederation of Koreans in the Maritime Territory, officials of Koreans organizations in Nakhodka, Vladivostok, Partizansk, Artyom, Ussuriysk cities and Koreans.

Present there on invitation were the consul general and staff members of the DPRK consulate general in Nakhodka.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the full-length picture of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il standing together on Mt. Paektu, and made bows.

A letter to Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, and a gift to him from the Autonomous Association of Korean National Culture in Ussuriysk City were conveyed to the consul general on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.

Then followed speeches.

The speakers said that all the Koreans overseas are yearning for Kim Il Sung who made great contributions to the cause of national reunification, devoting all his efforts to the liberation of Korea and its prosperity and people's happiness.

Kim Il Sung's history as one of the sun will be given steady continuity thanks to Kim Jong Un, they noted.

Korea will shine long as the one nation, reunified thriving nation without fail as long as there is his outstanding leadership, they stressed.

The participants watched a Korean film that documented the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Un energetically leading the work of strengthening the People's Army.
