We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Your Excellency for inviting us to IAAF-the 26th Mangyongdae Prize Marathon which was held in this beautiful city of Pyongyang on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people.

We have been greatly honored to participate in this event held on the occasion of the Day of the Sun jointly celebrated by the Korean and world progressive people.

The event was successfully organized at the moment when the situation in the Korean Peninsula is growing tense as never before and served as an important opportunity for athletes from different countries to promote friendship and exchange experience.

Thinking that the success of the event is thanks to your great attention to sports, we would like to extend our gratitude to Your Excellency for it.

During our stay in Pyongyang, we came to witness that the Korean people united single mindedly behind Your Excellency are striving to build a thriving nation.
