The camping brought together members of the Korean Children's Union who set an example in study and organizational life.

A ceremony for receiving campers took place at the Mangyongdae Children's Camp on Monday.

Present there were officials concerned, teachers of the camp and campers.

After a clarion call was sounded, the camping flag was hoisted.

The campers made a salute of the KCU to the flag.

Then followed a report and speeches.

At the end of the ceremony the campers made a march past.

Similar ceremonies took place at the Songdowon International Children's Camp, the Sokam Children's Camp and other camps across the country.
