The festival venue is vibrant with feelings of ardent yearning of the Koreans and foreigners for Kim Il Sung.

Ri Pyong Pha, a department director of the Korea Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Committee, told KCNA:

"Presented to the festival are numbers of potted Kimilsungias cultivated by many units and servicepersons and civilians, including school youth and children.

Also there are flowers from foreign embassies and international agencies in Pyongyang and friendship and solidarity organizations, individuals and members of aid associations for dissemination of Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia in different countries."

Kim Kwang Ho, director of the General Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps, said that more than 30 foreign embassies and international agencies in Pyongyang presented 50 odd potted Kimilsungias for display at the current festival. "In particular, Choummaly Saynasone, general secretary of the C.C., Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, sent the flower to the festival on his behalf," he added.

Tens of thousands of potted Kimilsungias are on display at the festival.
