Groundlessly denouncing the DPRK for its satellite launch for peaceful purposes and underground nuclear test, the U.S. cooked up "resolutions on sanctions" against the DPRK in succession by abusing the UN Security Council, and then started the largest-ever joint military drills with south Korea, he noted.

He went on:

It is clear to all that the U.S. is seeking to stifle the DPRK by force of arms at any cost.

It is an extremely just self-defensive measure that the strike forces of the KPA were put under class-A combat readiness under the prevailing situation.

We extend firm solidarity to the Korean people's struggle to defend their country from the U.S. aggression, and fully support all of the measures taken by the DPRK.

I am convinced that the Korean people are sure to win a final victory under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
