He said that the news of the March 2013 plenary meeting of the C.C., the WPK is instilling great energy and courage into the Korean people and other progressives aspiring after socialism.

He noted:

Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK, set forth a new strategic line which serves as a landmark in speeding up the building of a thriving socialist nation.

The said line means inheritance and development of the line of simultaneously developing economy and defence upbuilding laid down by President Kim Il Sung, and fully implemented by leader Kim Jong Il.

To further bolster up the nuclear deterrent for self-defense is the only option for the DPRK to keep to the road of independence, Songun and socialism.

Precisely for this reason Kim Jong Un set forth a new line making it possible to direct big efforts to pushing forward economic construction and improving the standard of the people's living, while bolstering up the nuclear force on the basis of the Juche-oriented nuclear industry.

All party members are convinced that the WPK and the Korean people will achieve a shining success in the struggle for defending the sovereignty of the country and building a thriving socialist nation in hearty response to the new strategic line under his leadership.
