S. Korean Warmongers Warned to Abandon Foolish Ambition: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean military belligerent forces, stunned at the results of a computer mock war that left more than 100 000 puppet troops dead some time into an all-out war on the Korean Peninsula, are crying out for "scorched-land strategy" to massively and preemptively launch missiles to avoid disasters. They move to include it in OPLAN 5015, a new war scenario against the DPRK. To this end, they scheme to introduce war hardware, claiming acquisition of the capacity to "strike whole areas of the north" by long-range air-to-ground missiles.

Rodong Sinmun Thursday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is a very belligerent move to round off the operation system for "preemptive strike" on the north and tackle it under the pretext of "threat" from the DPRK.

Lurking behind the "scorched-land strategy" touted by the puppet forces is a sinister intention to shore up morale of the puppet army that runs low in the face of the DPRK's powerful nuclear deterrent and the series of toughest countermeasures, and remove war phobia prevalent in south Korea even a bit.

What matters is that the puppet forces' reckless hysteria can lead to a nuclear war against the north any time.

But they should clearly know that if they dare opt for the "scorched-land strategy" with foolish ambition, they will lead to their miserable end.

We disregard the "scorched-land strategy" called for by the puppet forces, the colonial war servants of foreign forces. Their strategy will be reduced to a dead paper in the face of merciless nuclear strike of the DPRK.

We are just concerned about the land of south Korea that will turn to ashes and innocent south Koreans and their properties that can be damaged due to the puppet forces' reckless provocation.

The moment the puppets make the slightest move of provocation, all of them will be wiped out.
