During the festival artistes of art organizations here and local areas, members of art squads and itinerant art squads, people of various circles and overseas Korean artistes sang high praises of the revolutionary careers and feats of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un and represented the Korean people's pride of leading a worthwhile life of the sun's nation.

The performances were watched by senior party and state officials, service personnel, people, youth and students.

Present at the closing ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, Yang Hyong Sop and other officials concerned, participants in the festival and artistes.

Group prizes went to 27 units, prizes of ensemble to 19 art pieces and 24 organizations, prize of creation to 19 persons, individual prize to 20 persons and prize of merit to 7 organizations and four persons.

A song and dance performance was given by the artistes of the Mansudae Art Troupe at the ceremony.
