They included meetings, lectures and round-table talks in Serbia, Pakistan and Ethiopia from April 8 to 10.

The chairman of the Serbian preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun in his speech at a meeting praised Kim Il Sung as an outstanding thinker and theoretician and great statesman in the 20th century who clearly indicated the way to be followed by mankind through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.

The secretary general of the Lahore Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association said in a lecture that Kim Il Sung founded the undying Juche idea, providing mankind with great ideological and theoretical wealth, and built a socialist state centered on the popular masses.

He went on: Leader Kim Jong Il successfully carried forward the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by Kim Il Sung and turned the DPRK into an invincible socialist power possessed of nuclear deterrent for self-defence.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un is leading the struggle of the Korean people to build a thriving nation and improve the standard of people's living, while shattering all moves of the imperialist allied forces to stifle the DPRK with his matchless grit and pluck.

A director for the construction management of the Water Project Designing and Inspection Office of Ethiopia and other speakers lauded Kim Il Sung as the most distinguished leader in the 20th century who defeated two imperialisms in one generation and made a great contribution to the cause of global independence.

The DPRK is sure to win in the confrontation with the U.S. as long as there are the tremendous military muscle built by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the wise leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, they noted.

A message of greeting to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in Pakistan.
