The secretary general and the director general handed the gifts over to officials concerned of the DPRK on April 1 and 13.

The secretary general said:

The Juche idea is a beacon indicating the way to be followed by the progressive people struggling to realize the cause of global independence.

President Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea and on its basis defeated U.S. and Japanese imperialisms and built people-centered socialist system in Korea.

I present the gift to respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, on the occasion of the Day of the Sun (birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung), convinced that he will lead the struggle for global independence to victory, invariably holding high the torch of Juche.

The director general sincerely hoped the Korean people would build a thriving socialist nation at an early date, realize the cause of national reunification and lead a happier life under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Un.
