Earthquake Hits Chinese Province

Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- A 7.0-magnitude quake hit Lushan County in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, China Saturday.

Its epicenter was 13 km deep underground in the county.

The quake left 58 people dead and at least 2,200 wounded as of that day. A total of 120,000 were evacuated.

Relief work is going on there.
