Important Anniversaries of DPRK Celebrated in Different Countries
Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- Meetings took place in Bangladesh, Poland and France from April 12 to 15 to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the 20th anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the first anniversaries of the dear respected Kim Jong Un's election to the top posts of the party and state.

Present there were personages of relevant countries and the International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea and masses.

The general secretary of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea praised Kim Il Sung, saying humankind will always remember the feats performed by him for the cause of independence against imperialism.

He expressed conviction that the Korean people would surely achieve victory in the standoff with the U.S. under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association noted that the DPRK can stand firm against the U.S. as Kim Il Sung bolstered up the national power in every way and Kim Jong Il built nuclear deterrence.

The Korean people are sure to triumph in nuclear stand-off with the U.S. imperialists and the building of a thriving nation as they are led by Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of the preceding leaders, the chairman stressed.

The vice-chairman of the France-Korea Friendship Association praised Kim Il Sung as a peerless patriot who liberated the country from the colonial yoke, built a rich and powerful independent state and dedicated his all to the cause of national reunification till the last moment of his life.

He expressed support for the Korean people in their all-out action to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country, rallied close around Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Poland.
