The speakers at the press conference held that the "joint plan for coping with the provocation of a local war" worked out by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities calls on the U.S. to get automatically involved in a local war on the Korean Peninsula so that it may jointly cope with the war together with the puppet forces.

They went on:

The plan is fraught with the danger of even a small spark on the peninsula developing into an all-out war.

If the U.S. and the south Korean authorities truly want dialogue with the north, they should drop the joint plan and dismantle the U.S.-made nuclear weapons for offensive.

It is illogical to talk about the establishment of a peace-keeping mechanism on the peninsula, while allowing "Minister of Defense" Kim Kwan Jin, signatory to the plan, to stay in his office.

The present regime should show its true will for dialogue in practice, not verbally.
