Dialogue and Confrontation Can Not Go Together: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities are claimed that the north rejected the proposal for dialogue made by them, distorting the fact with such outcries as "regret" and "insincerity". They went the lengths of blaring that the "north threw wet blanket over the proposal" and "it overturned table", while crying out for any "correct option".

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is a shameless ploy to shift the blame for the grave situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula on to the DPRK.

It is none other than the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet warmongers who created the danger of a nuclear war on the peninsula.

North-south dialogue is impossible as the south Korean puppet forces are getting hell-bent on the "sanctions" and war maneuvers against the DPRK, while hurting the dignity of its supreme leadership.

They are chiming in the U.S. which set "observation of international duty" and "denuclearization" as preconditions for dialogue. This is an unpardonable insult to the DPRK and an open denial of the dialogue itself.

The south Korean authorities' talk about "dialogue" has not stemmed from the change of their real intention and any good-neighborliness toward the DPRK. They are resorting to "sanctions" and military threats to the DPRK in league with the U.S. When their moves did not get their way, they have misled the public opinion as if they were interested in the detente and peace on the Korean Peninsula while calling for "dialogue".

This is, in essence, another racket for confrontation under the signboard of "dialogue". The "dialogue" touted by the puppet forces is nothing but a crafty ploy to violate the independent right of the DPRK they failed to do through confrontation racket, and obliterate the dignified socialist system with dialogue as a bargaining chip.

Dialogue and racket for confrontation with the DPRK can never go together.
