Present there were people from all walks of life in Kwangju City and South Jolla Province.

The participants condemned the U.S. for increasing the danger of a nuclear war.

They can not feel sincerity at all though the U.S. is talking about dialogue as regards the situation on the Korean Peninsula, they charged.

The ardent desire of the people is to achieve peace on the peninsula at an early date, they held.

They declared they would turn out in actions to remove the ever-mounting danger of war and lead a peaceful life.

At the end of the rally the participants staged a demonstration.
