Meeting with DPRK Hero Held
Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- A meeting with a hero of the DPRK was organized at the Central Hall of Workers on Tuesday to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Korean People's Army.

Present there were trade union officials and members and workers.

DPRK Hero Kim Sung Un, lecturer of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, made an address.

He said that KPA fighters humbled the pride of the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world and honorably defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country by giving full play to the matchless bravery and self-sacrificing spirit under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung during the Fatherland Liberation War.

The powerful revolutionary Paektusan army, which has grown under the leadership of the peerlessly brilliant Songun commanders, is giving fullest play to its invincible might as it is led by Supreme Commander Marshal Kim Jong Un, he noted.

He called for waging a dynamic struggle to thoroughly implement the Workers' Party of Korea's line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and building of nuclear force and thus consolidating the national power of Songun Korea and making a tangible contribution to bringing earlier the final victory of the Juche revolution.
