Exploits of Kim Il Sung Lauded Abroad

Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- Meetings, film shows and seminars took place in Democratic Congo and Pakistan from Apr. 12 to 15 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. Korean films shown included "Pyongyang Today" and "International Friendship Exhibition House". Otete Gaston Mboyo, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo, said in his speech at the meeting that Kim Il Sung founded the immortal Juche idea, opening up the era of independence and greatly contributing to the Korean revolution and the accomplishment of global independence. The great exploits performed by the President for the human cause of independence will last forever, he said, adding that the DPRK would emerge victorious in the confrontation with the U.S. and build a thriving nation as it holds the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in high esteem. The executive secretary of the Gombe, Kinshasa, Regional Committee of the People's Party for the Reconstruction and the Democracy of Democratic Congo, said that the idea and exploits of Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il serve as an eternal foundation for the prosperity of socialist Korea. Noting that the DPRK is demonstrating its might as a satellite-manufacturer and launcher and nuclear weapons state under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, he expressed confidence that the DPRK would win a final victory in an all-out confrontation with the U.S. Berkat Ullah, chairman of the Pakistani Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea, in a speech praised the revolutionary life of the President, stressing that he would always be alive in the hearts of mankind. Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Matete District in Kinshasa of Democratic Congo and Karachi in Pakistan. |
