Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- Personages of Russia and Nepal released statements on Apr. 9 and 13 in denunciation of the U.S. evermore escalating moves to stifle the DPRK. Maltseva, assistant professor of the Far Eastern State University of Russia, said that the present grave situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula is entirely attributable to the large-scale joint military exercises kicked off by the U.S. against the DPRK. All the measures taken by the DPRK are to defend the sovereignty of the country and the nation, the professor said, adding that the U.S. and its followers are to blame for the current situation on the peninsula. Manik Lama, chairman of the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, said: The U.S. set up its military bases in different parts of the world including south Korea in a bid to openly meddle in internal affairs of other countries and invade them. The U.S. and its satellite forces prodded the UN Security Council into cooking up an illegal "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its satellite launch for peaceful purposes. It, at the same time, staged provocative nuclear war drills against the DPRK, seriously threatening the sovereignty and dignity of the Korean people and pushing the situation on the peninsula to the brink of a war. As a result, the dark clouds of a nuclear war are hanging over the peninsula. To cope with this situation the DPRK declared its stand to turn out in an all-out action against provocateurs. We urge the U.S. and its followers to immediately stop their moves for aggression. For lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula we demand the U.S. withdraw its aggressor troops from south Korea at once and the UNSC rescind all the "resolutions on sanctions" against the DPRK. |
