Korean Book, Photo and Handicraft Exhibitions Open in Russia, Vietnam
Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibitions were opened in Russia and Vietnam on Apr. 13 and 14 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

On display in the venues of the exhibitions were photos dealing with the immortal exploits performed by Kim Il Sung, general secretary Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Displayed there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

The participants first laid floral baskets and bouquets before portraits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il before paying tribute to them.

The administrative governor in Bikin District of the Khabarovsk Territory of Russia said that Kim Il Sung, eternal leader of the Korean people, made undying contributions to the development of the Russia-DPRK friendly relations, adding that Kim Jong Il visited the Siberian and Far Eastern region of Russia in 2011, putting the cooperative relations between the region and the DPRK on a higher level.

Referring to the fact that the Military Band of the Korean People's Army took part in the First Far East International Military Band Festival, he expressed his will to further develop exchange and cooperation in different fields in the future.

He was convinced that the Korean people would dynamically weather all difficulties as they hold Kim Jong Un in high esteem.

The curator of the Ho Chi Minh Museum of Vietnam said that the Korean people registered great successes in the country's defence and socialist construction in the last period under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un, adding that the exhibition would greatly contribute to further developing the traditional friendship and solidarity between the two parties, governments and peoples.
