The statement said:

The Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK made public a statement in which it urged the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to immediately stop all the provocations, fully apologize for them, give formal assurances before the world not to resort to nuclear war exercises against the DPRK again and completely withdraw nuclear war means from south Korea and waters near it if they truly want dialogue.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities should accept the demands of the DPRK as soon as possible as they are chief culprits of the present tense situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The Socialist Party of Romania expresses full support for the just stand of the DPRK on behalf of the unanimous minds of progressives.

The U.S. can never dodge its responsibility for the grave situation prevailing on the peninsula and it had better behave itself, lending an ear to the world voices of justice and conscience.
