The dancing parties began with songs "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" at the plazas of the Party Founding Memorial Tower, April 25 House of Culture, Arch of Triumph and other venues in Pyongyang.

The participants presented dances, recollecting with deep emotion the undying feats the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu performed by taking the thorny untrodden path of the Songun revolution to set a brilliant example in building the revolutionary armed forces in the era of independence and providing the powerful military muscle to guarantee the prosperity of the country and the happiness of rising generations.

They also danced to the tune of "The Guerrilla March", "Arirang on Jiansanfeng", "General's Art of Shortening Distance" and other songs. They were full of great pride in having the KPA, which has won victory after victory, holding the great brilliant commanders of Mt. Paektu in high esteem.

Similar dancing parties were held in provincial seats, cities and counties on the same day.
