Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were officials of local party and power bodies and working people's organizations, servicepersons of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, people from all walks of life and school youth and children.

Wreaths were laid in the name of local party and power bodies, working people's organizations, units of the KPA and the KPISF, institutions of science, education, literature and arts, public health, media, industrial establishments, farms, schools, etc. Bouquets and flowers were also laid before statues of martyrs, monuments to fallen fighters of the KPA, martyrs cemeteries and graves.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs.
