The completion of its construction makes it possible to contribute to the economic development of Manpho City and improve the people's standard of living.

An inaugural ceremony was held on Friday.

Present there were Pak Pong Ju, Pak To Chun, Yang Hyong Sop and officials concerned, builders of the power station, people and helpers in the city.

The tablet to honor the construction of the power station "Manpho Yonha Power Station" autographed by the dear respected Kim Jong Un was unveiled.

Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), conveyed a message of thanks of the C.C., the WPK to the builders who performed labor feats in the building of the power station and their helpers.

The C.C., the WPK said in the message that the power station is vivid crystal of general secretary Kim Jong Il's love for the people and proud creation in the era of Songun as it was built by the inexhaustible mental power of the builders, people in the city and helpers.

The message went on:

Kim Jong Il provided field guidance to the city, setting forth a task for building a minor hydraulic power station and leading the city to dynamically push forward the construction project with loving care.

All the builders, people in the city and helpers built the modern power station where all processes of operating generators have been computerized.

The message highly praised the builders of the power station and their helpers for having successfully carried out the behests of Kim Jong Il.
